Solar feed-in tariffs

If you have installed solar PV (or some other kind of small-scale generating facility) at the Premises, you may be eligible to be paid for excess electricity you feed back into the grid. For more information of Sumo’s solar feed-in tariff agreement click here.

Sumo Assure Energy Plan terms & conditions

Term: This Energy Plan continues until you or we end it.

Benefits: No bells and whistles, just great rates! The rates are set out in the applicable Victorian Energy Fact Sheet or Basic Plan Information Document.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this Energy Plan you must:

• be a residential customer in an applicable distribution area
• for gas, have an electricity account with Sumo at the same supply address
• sign up with us online via Sumo’s website at www.sumo.com.au
• agree to receive your bills and all other communications from Sumo by email
• agree to a direct debit or direct credit arrangement to pay your bills in full each month on the due date (0.7% fee will apply to payments made by credit card)
• meet our creditworthiness and other criteria

Termination: We may end this Energy Plan early if:

• you stop being a residential customer
• you no longer agree to receive bills or other communications from us by email, or if we become aware that the email address you provided us is incorrect
• you cancel or suspend your direct debit or direct credit payment arrangement, or any of your direct debit or direct credit payments is dishonoured

There is no termination fee if you end this Energy Plan early.

If we are still your retailer after this Energy Plan ends, we will continue to supply you with energy under our standard retail contract, available at www.sumo.com.au/terms. Or you and we may agree to enter into a new market retail contract.
